Well, this month has marked yet another successful summer of not doing ANYTHING :) I haven’t worked this little since I were a wee baby boy.
So, I’m getting very excited about moving into Bristol again next month and starting the second year of my most excellent animation course; and to prepare myself I splashed out about £500 on a new PC that should have cost about £700 (bargain). 2.4GHz Intel core 2 quad Q6600, 3GB memory, ATI Radeon HD4850, 700GB HDD, and I was given as an early birthday present; an LG W2252S monitor (22″, 1680×1050, 10,000:1 contrast, 5ms refresh rate). It basically is the most amazing PC you can get for less than £700.
Had a great time at Greenbelt this month- I just wish I’d watched Jose Gonzales and not that rubbish Fightstar band with that charlie from Busted.. Gladly didn’t watch him to the end; there was Chai to drink :)
Don’t forget it’s my birthday on the 23rd September, and more importantly International Talk Like a Pirate Day on the 19th! Yaaaarrrr!
